Oon jo pitkän aikaa ollut ihastunut valkoiseen marmoriin. Haluaisin sitä vaatteisiini, sisustukseeni ja joka paikkaan. Ostin muutama kuukausi sitten marmorikuvioista kontaktimuovia Sinellistä, mutta en ole vieläkään käyttänyt sitä mihinkään. Suunnitelmissa olisi päällystää ainakin joku vihko ja ehkä kalenterikin sillä. Ostin sitä noin puoli metriä valkoisena sekä mustana. Onko kellään näiden vihkojen sekä kuvaustaustana käytön lisäksi mitään muita ideoita mihin tätä ihanaa marmoria voisi käyttää?

PS: Yritän tässä lähipäivinä kuvailla taas asuja, kunhan vaan jaksaisi kun on niin kauheen kuuma (saan auringosta helposti migreenin..). Tosin tänään onneksi on satanut, oon oottanut innolla koska tulee oikein kunnon ukkonen.

                                                                           

I have this "marble madness". I want marble printed clothes, interior and everything! A couple of months ago I bought this marble print contact paper in black and white. I´ve been planning to cover a notebook and maybe a calendar with it. It´s also great background for photos, don´t you think? Do you have any ideas where I could use this lovely contact paper?

PS: I´ll try to take some outfit photos soon. It have been so freaking hot that I´ve just been trying to enjoy the weather (and having a migraine..). Luckily today rained a bit. I´ve been also waiting for a thunder strom to come.

Casual look for 'not that hot summer day'. This hat is also my mother´s old, just like the one I was wearing here. I´d like to talk a little about my hair cause that´s really confusing me. It have been couple of months since the last time I dyed it. I like the color of it when I look in the mirror and some pictures. But then when I see some other photos, I´m like: does my hair really look like that?? For example the photo of me at the festival (in the latest post). My hair has like three different shades: my natural hair color and the reddish ombré, although in these photos my hair looks quite blonde. I´ve already tried dyeing it with blonde ash color and used a silver conditioner but it´s still a bit orange. Do you have any suggestions what should I do with my hair? Do I keep it like this and wait for my natural hair color to grow back or should I dye it again? Maybe with a darker blonde ash?

Tää asu on juuri sopiva 'ei niin kuumalle kesäpäivälle', joita täällä Suomessa kyllä riittää. Päässäni oleva hattu on taas jälleen äitini vanha, kuten aiemmin nähty Indiana Jones -hattu. Mulla olisi hieman asiaa mun hiuksista. On tosi hämmentävää, kun hiukset näyttää joka kuvassa erivärisiltä. Näissä kuvissa niissä on ihan kiva sävy, mutta esimerkiksi edellisessä postauksessa mun hiukset näyttää ihan ihmeellisiltä.. Näyttää kun niissä olisi kolmea eri sävyä: mun oma väri sekä punasesta ombrésta jääneet oranssit sävyt. Niitä ei kuitenkaan näy peiliin katsoessa, joten tää on tosi hämmentävää. Mitä mieltä ootte: pitäisikö mun värjätä taas hiukset, esim. tummemmalla tuhkan sävyllä, vai kärsivällisesti vaan odottaa hiusten kasvua omaan väriinsä?

Ilosaarirock 2014

Lauantaina vietin päiväni Linnanmäellä serkkujeni kanssa. Sunnuntaina olin Joensuussa Ilosaarirockissa.

Saturday I was at an amusement park with my cousins. The icecream photo is the only one from there, the rest are from Ilosaarirock, a festival in Joensuu where I was yesterday.

Mulla oli ihan mahtava viikonloppu. Näin yhden lempibändini, Haimin. Ne oli ihan tajuttoman hyviä ja mulla oli tosi hyvä paikka, melkein eturivissä. Näin myös Jenni Vartiaisen ja Ellie Gouldingin, jotka olivat myös aika hyviä livenä, vaikka en erityisemmin niitä kuuntelekaan. Musta on vain kaksi kuvaa koko päivältä ja vain toinen niistä oli edes jotenkin julkaisukelpoinen.. Koko päivä oli tosi kuuma, sain jopa vähän väriä kasvoille, mikä on mulle aika epätavallista.

Päälläni oli New Yorkista ostettu mekko, H&M:n sininen ruutupaita ja Undergroundin creeperit. Aurinkolasit ovat 80´s purple: ista ja rannekorut ovat vuosien aikana hankittuja.

I had a super weekend. I saw one of my favorite band live, Haim. They were freaking amazing. I also saw Ellie Goulding and Jenni Vartiainen. They were also pretty good. There were only two pictures taken of me so here´s the other one, kind of awkward looking and tired from the heat. All day was really hot and I even got a little color to my pale skin.

I was wearing a dress from New York, blue H&M shirt and Underground creepers as usual. The sunnies are from 80´s purple and the bracelets are some randoms I´ve got over the years.

Jeffrey Campbellin Coltranet on ehdottomasti yhdet lempparikenkäni. Päälläni on muutama postaus sitten näkynyt musta mekko, jonka puin farkkutakin ja lippiksen kanssa.
Tulevana viikonloppuna mulla on luvassa paljon tekemistä. Lauantaina menen Linnanmäelle hurvittelemaan ja sunnuntaiaamuna matkaan Joensuuhun Ilosaarirockiin. Oon tosi innoissani, koska näen Haim:in, joka on yksi tämänhetkisistä lemppareistani. Haimin siskosten tyyli on myös inspiroivaa. Ja onhan ne tukkajumalia. Mulla ei vaan ole vielä mitään hajua, että mitä laitan päälle.. Otan mielelläni ehdotuksia vastaan :)

I´m wearing one of my favorite shoes: Jeffrey Campbell´s Coltranes. I paired them with a black dress and denim jacket. I also put on a cap to give this look a sporty edge.
This weekend is going to be so much fun. Saturday I´m going to an amusement park and sunday will totally be funday: I´m going to see Haim, one of my favorite band. They perform in Joensuu, in a festival called Ilosaarirock. I´m thrilled to see them live. I just have no idea yet what to wear.. Any suggestions?

Boho-vaikutteinen asu, johon tykästyin tosi paljon! Vaihteen vuoksi päätin kokeilla äitini vanhaa Indiana Jones -hattua, ja taitaa olla että se tulee näkymään tän jälkeen blogissa paljonkin. En oo aikaisemmin oikein pitänyt hattuja (tai ainakaan pitkään aikaan), vaikka oon niistä aina tykännytkin. Nyt kuitenkin tuntuu että ois sen aika. Tai no olenhan mä sen jo aloittanut, kun melkein joka postauksessa mulla on hattu, hups.. H&M:n käärmekuvioinen kimono on ensimmäistä kertaa päälläni. Oon kauan aikaa odotellut, että jospa sitä sitten pitäisi kun menee johonkin rantalomalle. Aika hölmö oon ollut, koska toi on tosi kiva vaikka mekon kanssa.

I really like this boho-inspired outfit. I´m wearing my mom´s old Indiana Jones hat which I really like, so this probably won´t be the last time you see it. I´ve been wearing hats a lot in my blog but actually I have just started wearing them. I barely wore them at all before so I think now is the time to wear them again, like I did when I was a kid. I´m wearing that kimono for the first time. I guess I´ve been waiting to wear it on a beach holiday but I have been silly. The kimono is perfect with a dress.
