Summer 2018 Playlist

I hope you had a nice midsummer despite the lousy weather. I've been running from concert to another, spent my midsummer with family and friends (and some sangria), and of course have been eating a lot of grilled food.

I was supposed to post this playlist before midsummer, but I've been having some back issues and I had to stay away from the computer for a while. But here it is; the official TFS Summer 2018 playlist. Enjoy.

SUOMI 100 - Hundred Songs from Finland

To celebrate the 100th year of independent Finland (December 6th), I made a playlist of 100 Finnish songs. I chose these songs for various reasons; some of them are undeniable classics, some of them make me feel nostalgic and some are current favorites of mine. There are some great songs in English too if you don't understand the Finnish language. Or maybe after listening to this playlist you want to learn Finnish?

#theMUSICsundae: Summer 2017 playlist

"I got news for you baby.."

..the blog is not dead after all, hurray!

Without long explanations and apologies, I'm back with a new playlist. This time I have chosen some new tunes of 2017 and some other favorites of mine that I have been listening to lately. I think this year has been a great year for new music, and the best is yet to come, if you ask me. Some of my favorite albums so far has been Paramore's After Laughter, Lust For Life by Lana Del Rey, Something To Tell You by HAIM and Harry Styles' debut album. And if you've been following me on any social media at all, you know that I am eagerly waiting for the fifth studio album of my favorite band, The Killers (Wonderful Wonderful is out September 22nd). I'm also looking forward to the upcoming sophomore album by Australian artist called Alex Cameron. If that name is not familiar to you, you should definitely check him out.

Let me know what you think and comment down below what are your favorite summer tunes or new favorite songs! And of course, if you like the playlist -hit the follow button on Spotify! See you soon!

TFS Playlist

Hello there, I'm back! At least for a moment. I've been kind of busy lately with all the stuff I need

to do before going to Los Angeles. Last week I had my visa interview and Tuesday I received a student visa for United States. I haven't booked my flights yet, but I'm leaving at the end of next week! I haven't fully realized it yet, but I think next week I'm going to freak out, haha. Wish me luck!

My post today is something little different than the previous posts: I made a playlist for you! So, if you have a Spotify, you can give it a listen and follow if you like it!

This playlist includes some of my all time favorites and some songs I'm listening at the moment. You might have heard some of these on my Snapchat (nooravesalainen). You can find my playlist by searching for TFS Playlist or with the name Noora Vesalainen. And if you have Spotify open now, you can give it a listen immediately, just scroll down to see the playlist.

What do you think about this kind of posts? I'm thinking about making more music related posts and I would like to hear what do you guys think. Could there be a music category on my blog called The Music Sundae? Haha, well I'll think about that. But don't worry, fashion will remain as my main thing.

Ehkä blogiin saattaa ilmestyä uusi kategoria The Music Sundae? Pistetään mietintämyssyyn. Pääosin aion kuitenkin pitää blogini muotipainoitteisena, onhan blogin nimi kuitenkin The Fashion Sundae.
