Brown like the desert and blue like the sky

Heipä hei! Luulin, että seuraava blogipostaus tulisi vasta huhtikuussa, mutta innostuinkin viime yönä tekemään inspiraatiokollaasia. Tällä hetkellä olen tosi inspiroitunut ruskean eri sävyistä sekä pitkästä aikaa myös sinisestä. Muutenkin värit alkavat tuntua huokuttelevammilta kuin ennen. Olen jopa harkinnut, että pitäisikö ostaa jotakin keltaista? Ensin aloitan kuitenkin ruskeasta, etenkin kamelin värisestä mokasta, sekä sinisestä -farkkuna sekä muina materiaaleina. Musta ja valkoinen raikastaa asun kuin asun, joten niistä en kuitenkaan aio luopua.

Palailen bloggailun pariin kunnolla huhtikuun alussa tai puolivälissä, joten pysykää kuulolla!

Well hello! I thought the next blog post would've been in april but last night I made this collage that I wanted to share with you. Lately I've been very inspired by different shades of brown and blue. Different colors are finally starting to get my interest. I've been also thinking about buying something yellow, but maybe I'll begin this color exploring with brown suede and leather and blue jean. Black and white always freshens up an outfit so I'm not gonna stop wearing them.

I'll be back in business before mid-april so stay tuned!

Like I promised yesterday, here's the part 2 of my PFW favorites. I really loved Chanel, Miu Miu, Ellery and Valentino. Chanel and Valentino's shows were super. Chanel's show was at The Grand Palais that was turned into a brasserie, The Brasserie Gabrielle. Valentino ended its beautiful show with two very familiar faces; Ben Stiller and Owen Wilson.

Nyt on muotiviikot ohi ja voin kunnolla keskittyä koulutöihin ja ennakkotehtäviin. Tämä loppukuukausi tulee olemaan todella kiireinen, joten en usko, että aikaa riittää bloggaamiselle. H&M platforms

Stella McCartney platforms 625 €

H&M platforms 29,99 €

Remember the post (here) I blogged about a week ago? It was about platform shoes. I said that I've been drooling over Stella McCartney's platforms for a long time and I haven't found any affordable shoes similar to them. Well, now I have. They're from H&M, and cost only 29,99 euros. The quality is probably nothing like the Stella's but I'm still pretty excited about them. I already ordered them so they are on their way. I hope someday I'll be walking with my feet on those Stella's  but for now those dupes from H&M will have to replace them.

Noin viikko sitten tein postauksen paksupohjaisista kengistä (täällä!). Kerroin, että olen haaveillut pitkään Stella McCartneyn platformeista, ja olen etsinyt samantapaisia kenkiä edulliseen hintaan. Eilen kuin tilauksesta bongasin H&M:n instagramista kuvan kengistä, jotka muistuttavat epäilyttävästi noita Stella McCartneyn kenkiä. Kengät menivät tilaukseen välittömästi. Vaikka H&M:llä ei mitään laatukenkiä olekaan, olen silti aika innoissani noista kengistä. Toivon silti, että joku kaunis päivä kävelen vielä noissa Stella McCartneyn ihanuuksissa.

Summer 2013

Muutama hassu kuva kesältä 2013. Tuolloin minulla oli punainen pitkä tukka liukuväreineen. Eli tässä siis syy siihen, miksi taistelen vieläkin tuota hiusten punertavuutta vastaan. Näissä kuvissa oli niin ihanan kesäinen tunnelma, joten päätin julkaista ne nyt täällä blogissa. Päälläni on kirpparilta löydetty H&M:n vintagemekko, joka on yksi lemppareistani.

Couple of photos from summer 2013. Back then I had red ombré hair so that´s why I´m still fighting against the red. I´m wearing a vintage H&M dress, which is actually one of my favorite.

Meidän pihallamme syreenissä on jo pienet lehdet, eli kyllä se kesä kohta tulee!

Now that the fashion week has moved on to Paris, I've chosen my favorites from Milan. Italy certainly knows how to do it. Two of my favorites were Fendi and Prada so that's why I wanted to show you guys a little more from their collections.

FENDI

What I loved about Fendi's fall collection was the leather panels, fur coats and sweaters, the all white and all black looks, and those puffs; if someone can make the puffs look so good it's Karl Lagerfeld. That brown print dress left above was my favorite. Fendi's shoes were also very interesting and I liked the sunglasses.

PRADA

Prada made me want candy and all sort of sweets. Here's the reasons why I totally fell for Prada's new collection:

1. The colors are insane, but still works so well together

2. The materials are insane too, and again -works so well, without looking odd

3. The accessories are on point, love the leather gloves!

4. Every single look is interesting

5. Everything's totally on point; the setting, hair, make up, casting

And as the Paris fashion week has began I´m really looking forward to see the new collection by Miu Miu as well (Miuccia Prada is the designer by both of them, Prada and Miu Miu, if you did not know).

This spring the shoes will have chunky soles. There will be creepers, flatforms and all sort of platforms, and I´m more than happy about that. Well, not about the fact that soon everyone might be wearing them, but the fact that the range of the flatforms will get much bigger. I´ve been wearing my Underground creepers since I was seventeen. Even though my style was a bit different back then I still love all sort of flatforms. I´ve been drooling over those Stella McCartney shoes for so long but they´re little too much for my budget so I´ve been in a hunt for something similar as them. I haven´t yet found but I think there will be much more flatforms in the stores this spring. If you have seen something similar to those shoes I´d be happy if you gave me some link or hint where to find them.

Tänä keväänä kengistä löytyy pohjaa ja siitä olen enemmän kuin mielissäni. Itse olen käyttänyt Undergroundin creepereitä 17-vuotiaasta asti, tosin tyylini oli silloin vähän erilainen. Creepereitä ja kaikenlaisia paksupohjaisia kenkiä rakastan kuitenkin vieläkin, joten olen innoissani, että ne tulevat vihdoinkin muotiin. En siis sen takia, että ne yleistyvät ja kohta kaikki omistaa sellaiset, vaan siksi, että valikoima lisääntyy. Olen kauan aikaa himoinnut Stella McCartneyn ihania platformeja, mutta ne on sen verran hintavat, että täytyy etsiä jotkut hieman omaan budjettiin sopivammat. Vielä en ole sellaisia löytänyt, mutta eiköhän näitä flatformeja tule enemmän pian kauppoihinkin. Jos joku on nähnyt noita Stella McCartneyn kenkiä vastaavat kengät jossakin, olisin enemmän kuin iloinen, jos joku vinkkaisi niistä tänne suuntaan.

Tykkäättekö muuten blogin uudesta ulkoasusta? Vielä on muutama asia, joita haluaisin muuttaa, mutta tyylillisesti pidän nyt blogin ulkoasusta. Nyt blogissa pystyy myös etsimään eri kategorioiden avulla tietyn aiheisia postauksia.
